The EUROAVIA (European Association of Aerospace Students) is an European Initiative of Students, which has its roots in aerospace studies. As one of the oldest European associations the EUROAVIA is active in 18 countries with 31 local groups by now. In 1999 we celebrated our 40th anniversary.

In the EUROAVIA Hamburg, we made it our business to promote the contact between the students, as well as the contact between students and enterprises. Furthermore EUROAVIA means communication between students from all over Europe, mostly by the cooperation of the various local groups.

Our events like workshops or European student gatherings (Fly-In), which are open to all interested, are team-organized. Independent ideas and their implementation are demanded in these local and international working-groups. Fun as well as professionalism are always important for our projects.

Because of our activities with the EUROAVIA Hamburg we do not only get an insight into professional life, but gain practical knowledge in European teamwork.

Etihad schafft Gewinnschwelle
Die in Abu Dhabi beheimatete Fluggesellschaft Etihad Airways hat die Kennzahlen für das abgelaufene Jahr vorgelegt. Demnach erzielte die Airline bei einem Umsatz von 4,1 Milliarden US-Dollar einen Gewinn von 14 Millionen Dollar.
Lufthansa: Erste Boeing 747-8 hebt ab
Die erste Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental der Lufthansa hat nach Bodentests nun auch mit den Flugtests begonnen. Die Maschine mit der Registrierung D-ABYA soll im März an den Kunden übergeben werden.
BER: Fluglärmgegner beantragen Volksbegehren
Märkische Fluglärmgegner wollen sich mit einem Volksbegehren weiter für ein generelles Nachtflugverbot am künftigen Hauptstadtflughafen einsetzen. Ein entsprechendes Schreiben ist am Mittwoch im Brandenburger Landtag eingegangen.
Taxiverbände kritisieren BER-Tarifregelung
Die Berliner Taxiverbände sind nicht zufrieden mit der in dieser Woche beschlossenen Tarifregelung am neuen Hauptstadtflughafen Berlin-Brandenburg (BER). Die Verbände monieren neben dem Doppeltarif vor allem mangelnde Kontrollmöglichkeiten.
