The EUROAVIA (European Association of Aerospace Students) is an European Initiative of Students, which has its roots in aerospace studies. As one of the oldest European associations the EUROAVIA is active in 18 countries with 31 local groups by now. In 1999 we celebrated our 40th anniversary.

In the EUROAVIA Hamburg, we made it our business to promote the contact between the students, as well as the contact between students and enterprises. Furthermore EUROAVIA means communication between students from all over Europe, mostly by the cooperation of the various local groups.

Our events like workshops or European student gatherings (Fly-In), which are open to all interested, are team-organized. Independent ideas and their implementation are demanded in these local and international working-groups. Fun as well as professionalism are always important for our projects.

Because of our activities with the EUROAVIA Hamburg we do not only get an insight into professional life, but gain practical knowledge in European teamwork.

Qatar Airways expandiert in Indien
Qatar Airways will in den kommenden zwei Monaten ihre Flugverbindungen nach Indien ausbauen. Auf den Routen nach Amritsar, Kochi und Delhi sollen die Frequenzen erhöht werden, sodass künftig alle elf Indien-Ziele von Qatar Airways mindestens einmal täglich bedient werden.
Goh Choon Phong wird neuer SIA-CEO
Singapore Airlines hat Goh Choon Phong zum neuen CEO ernannt. Der 47-Jährige wird die Leitung der Fluggesellschaft zum 1. Januar 2011 übernehmen, wenn der bisherige CEO Chew Choon Seng in Ruhestand geht.
LH Technik Philippines will wachsen
Lufthansa Technik Philippines hat angekündigt, sein Angebot an MRO-Dienstleistungen zu erweitern. Der Kundenstamm ist nach Angaben des Unternehmens erfreulich gewachsen.
BA-Passagierzahlen im August stabil
British Airways hat ihre Passagierzahlen im August gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum nahezu stabil gehalten. Während die Zahl der Fluggäste auf den Asien-Routen abnahm, konnte auf den europäischen Verbindungen ein leichtes Plus verzeichnet werden.
