The EUROAVIA (European Association of Aerospace Students) is an European Initiative of Students, which has its roots in aerospace studies. As one of the oldest European associations the EUROAVIA is active in 18 countries with 31 local groups by now. In 1999 we celebrated our 40th anniversary.

In the EUROAVIA Hamburg, we made it our business to promote the contact between the students, as well as the contact between students and enterprises. Furthermore EUROAVIA means communication between students from all over Europe, mostly by the cooperation of the various local groups.

Our events like workshops or European student gatherings (Fly-In), which are open to all interested, are team-organized. Independent ideas and their implementation are demanded in these local and international working-groups. Fun as well as professionalism are always important for our projects.

Because of our activities with the EUROAVIA Hamburg we do not only get an insight into professional life, but gain practical knowledge in European teamwork.

Spanair stellt Betrieb ein
Spanair hat ihren Betrieb vollständig eingestellt. Die finanziell schwer angeschlagene spanische Fluggesellschaft sieht einer Erklärung zufolge keinen finanziellen Spielraum mehr. Spanair hatte bis zuletzt mit Qatar Airways über einen Einstieg verhandelt.
Musterprozess zwischen Vielflieger und Lufthansa beginnt
Das Vielfliegerprogramm der Lufthansa beschäftigt seit Freitag das Kölner Landgericht. Ein Hamburger IT-Professor verklagt die Airline, weil seine gesammelten Meilen beim Bonusprogramm «Miles & More» nach einer Änderung der Geschäftsbedingungen weniger wert sind.
AirBridgeCargo erhält erste 747-8F
AirBridgeCargo Airlines hat am Donnerstag ihr erstes Frachtflugzeug vom Typ Boeing 747-8 erhalten. Insgesamt hat die Fluggesellschaft eine Bestellung über fünf dieser Maschinen offen.
Fluggesellschaften unter EU-Kartellverdacht
Die europäischen Wettbewerbshüter nehmen eine besonders enge Allianz dreier großer Fluggesellschaften des Luftfahrtbündnisses Skyteam unter die Lupe. Die Europäische Kommission leitete eine Wettbewerbsuntersuchung gegen Air France-KLM, Alitalia und Delta ein, wie die Brüsseler Behörde am Freitag mitteilte.
